The holiday cottage is set in a quiet location close to the centre of the picturesque village of Betws-y-Coed. There is private parking for 2/3 cars with the cottage. If arriving by public transport, the cottage is close to the train station and bus stop.

It is in a central location for exploring all the attractions and natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park and the rest of North Wales.

From the map above it can be seen that this holiday cottage is ideally located for visiting the many tourist attractions of Snowdonia and North Wales, including world famous ones like Conwy Castle, Portmeirion and the Ffestiniog and Snowdon Mountain Railways.

There are also many activities to be enjoyed include walking and climbing in Snowdonia, and mountain biking. There numerous walks in the Gwydyr Forest that surrounds the village of Betws-y-Coed, and more challenging hikes/climbs in the nearby mountains including Snowdon.

For mountain biking the well-known Gwydir Mawr & Bach Trails are a few minutes from the cottage, and the Penmachno Trail is also close by. Mountain bikes can be hired from Beics Betws. The Zip World Fforest is an exhilarating experience not to be missed that is within walking distance.

The North Wales coast including the walled town of Conwy and Victorian resort of Llandudno is down the Conwy Valley. The sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay and Anglesey are also within easy reach.

There are plenty of shops and places to eat in Betws-y-Coed that are within an easy level walk from the holiday cottage. The local market town of Llanrwst is just a few miles down the valley with a large selection of shops including a supermarket.
